Hi there, thank you for taking a look at my credentials and history.
I have 15 years’ experience within mental health, wellbeing and special educational needs, gaining this experience in education, healthcare and third-sector settings.
My main role is currently within the NHS as a High Intensity Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapist working with adults. Before this I held a similar role within NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) as an Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP). I originally trained as a Special Educational Needs Teacher in Further Education before commencing my Psychotherapy Training. Please see below accreditation certificate for peace of mind.
I also have experience within the third sector- Samaritans and Mind Monmouthshire, the latter where I developed an array of mental health courses and workshops which are still being delivered across Monmouthshire and have had a positive impact on the lives of many.
More importantly, I have lived experience of PMDD, being diagnosed with this condition in 2019. Please do check out ‘My Story’ on the homepage. Please note, I want to share my experience and be honest, so the story does come with a ‘trigger’ warning.
